Overwatch could be the next big cybersports project, as its look and gameplay style is quite different from established FPS cybersports games such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Call of Duty, enough variety in maps and characters, and strong support from Blizzard to keep the game going for a long time. The speed of gameplay and short match times also make overwatch bet enjoyable and easy for viewers. The first international competitive Overwatch tournament was hosted by the Electronic Sports League (ESL) in August 2016.
